The Credit Union Difference
Unlike other financial institutions, a credit union is a nonprofit financial cooperative owned and run by its members. Our members make up the board of directors, who manage and elect other officers to handle the business and operations of the credit union and approve credit union policies. Credit Unions have no outside stockholders; all net earnings after expenses are returned to our members (including our employees) in the form of higher dividend rates, lower loan rates, or no or low-cost services.
